In today’s CNC machining world, manufacturers are being asked to do more with less. As proposed tariffs threaten to push the cost of steel, aluminum, and other critical materials even higher, the margin for error is vanishing. A single scrapped part can cost more than just raw material—it’s lost time, lost labor, and lost opportunity.

We understand the pressure. At Deburring Technologies, we work with machine shops and production facilities every day that are striving to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and hold tight tolerances without compromising quality. And we believe a brighter, more consistent, and more efficient manufacturing future is possible—with the right tools and the right support.

When Scrapping is Too Expensive to Tolerate

Inconsistent edge quality, lingering burrs, and unreliable finishing processes can all lead to rework—or worse, rejection. The harsh truth is this: no CNC operation can afford to keep losing parts to post-process issues. Especially not now.

It’s time to think about deburring not as a tedious afterthought, but as a strategic, automated part of your process—and that’s where Xebec tools shine.

The Future of Finishing is on the Machine

Xebec tools are designed to deburr and finish parts directly in your CNC machine, delivering consistent, repeatable results without operator variability. Their ceramic fiber technology excels at removing burrs, smoothing edges, and producing controlled edge breaks with precision—cycle after cycle.

And while Xebec does offer high-quality manual deburring tools for hand finishing, the real transformation happens when you integrate these tools into your automated workflow. That’s where you unlock repeatability, reduce handling, and protect your investment in every part.

Learn more about how finishing on the machine improves control and reduces scrap.

Yes, There’s a Setup Investment—But It Pays for Itself

We know what you’re thinking: “This sounds great, but what about the time it takes to program and implement?” That’s a fair concern. Setting up a new automated deburring process does require initial investment in programming and processing adjustments.

But here’s the good news: you don’t have to go it alone. Our team of application specialists is ready to guide you through the process. From tool selection and program parameters to live testing and optimization, we’re here to help you make the transition smooth—and successful.

Once in place, automated deburring not only improves quality and repeatability—it dramatically reduces labor costs, scrap, and rework. Most shops see a fast return on their investment, with more reliable throughput and fewer headaches.

It’s Time to Build a More Resilient Shop Floor

Whether you’re making aerospace parts, surgical components, or complex castings, the challenges are real. Tight specs. Rising material costs. Labor shortages. There’s a lot to navigate. But you’re not alone—and you’re not stuck.

Automated finishing doesn’t just solve a deburring problem—it gives your team freedom. It unlocks new efficiencies, simplifies QC, and frees skilled operators from tedious manual work so they can focus on higher-value tasks.

Discover how Xebec tools compare to traditional abrasive methods and why the switch is worth it.

We’re With You—Every Step of the Way

At Deburring Technologies, our mission is to help you succeed—not just today, but in the future of manufacturing. We’ve helped hundreds of shops take that first step toward better finishing, fewer scrapped parts, and stronger process control. You can, too.

Let’s make the shift. Let’s stop scrapping. Let’s build something better—together.

Cutting fiber brushes and stones are cutting tools and are often rotated at high speeds with a power tool or in a machine tool. They should never be operated at higher than the maximum speeds listed. When using these tools, safety glasses and gloves should be worn. Breathing the dust created by using these products for prolonged periods of time should be avoided.
